Enjoyable round in the red rocks

Canyon Mesa in Sedona is a really enjoyable little nine-hole course. For being right in the middle of red rock country, the views are outstanding—pretty much every hole gives you that classic Sedona backdrop that makes you stop and look around. It’s the kind of scenery that turns a quick round into something special.The whole place has a nice, relaxed vibe. It’s not stuffy or pretentious at all. You can get around the course pretty fast, the staff is friendly, and it just feels easygoing. Perfect if you don’t want to spend all day or if you’re bringing beginners or family along.Price-wise, it’s one of the better deals in Sedona. Walking nine holes is very reasonable compared to a lot of the other courses around here, which makes it even more appealing.The only real downsides are that the fairways are pretty narrow, so you have to be accurate off the tee, and the holes sit fairly close together. All in all, I’d give Canyon Mesa a solid 4 out of 5. It’s not a long championship layout, but if you’re after great views, a chill atmosphere, and good value, this place checks all the boxes.
