Great course in North West London

First time playing golf in England and this course did not disappoint. We played there on a Monday afternoon in late September. It was a great experience. We were staying in Kensington and took the Piccadilly line out to the course. We got off on the Sudbury Town station and had a 5 min walk to the course. I rented clubs for around 50 pounds and they were good clubs, Srixon and seemed to be pretty new. Walking is kinda of the norm at this course, they did have power carts but opted for a push cart. This course, to my surprise, had a lot of elevation changes which made it fun and at times challenging. Not many better feelings that bombing a ball off the tee and seeing it soar. But those bombs have to be tempered with the amount of dog-legs on the course, in both directions. The greens were immaculate and there was some undulation to make them challenging, including some double levels. Then think about that elevation where some of those greens were high up. The fairways were pretty hard, a local member had mentioned that in the summer, the heat wave burned the fairways so they were not as mature. All in all, I felt they were still pretty good, but do watch for the slopes because your ball can travel down hill easily so plan accordingly. They don't have a range where you can warm up, but they do have some bays where you can hit balls off a mat just to get a few swings in. All in all, it worked out pretty well and glad they had something. (See picture) below. After the round, stay for a drink on the patio, over looking the 18th hole which is an elevated par 3. A great hole to watch others finish their round. I would play this course again in a heartbeat.
