We played this course as it is part of Golf Vantage program that we use with courses in West Phoenix. Because of that, the price was right so we figured why not, let's go check it out. Similar to some of the other Palm Desert reviews, there were summer conditions so I am not dinging them on that. There were some spots that werent great, but that is to be expected this time of year. If you look on YouTube, there are some reviews where it looks like spring and the course is pristine. Overall, I enjoyed the layout of the course. There was some bunkers, some water and overall a good mix. Was not crazy complex by any means but I wouldn't call it easy either. There are Par 3s where water is in play, also a Par 4 where a stream help protects the green so you have to hit a bomb on your second shot or layup. 17 is a great hole, a short par 3, protected by water. I was on-track for a really low score until a dunked a ball in the water, but that is part of the game :-) Course certainly isn't as fancy as some of the other resort courses but if you are looking for a solid place to play, with great value then check this course our.
