Amazing but humbling

Played Torrey Pines North Course and it was a solid 4.5/5 experience. The views are absolutely stunning—especially along the back nine where you get those sweeping ocean glances and the dramatic cliffs. Feels like you're playing on the edge of the world at times. The course was in fantastic condition too: greens were smooth and true, fairways tight and well-manicured. It was humbling for my level of golf. That second cut is brutal—super thick and grabby. I buried a couple balls in there and it was a nightmare trying to advance them. Definitely punishes any offline shots more than you'd expect. Overall though, had a really good time. Beautiful track, well-maintained, and worth the round if you're in the San Diego area.
