The Verrado Founders Course offers a clean, well kept desert layout with consistent conditions from tee to green. It sits right beside the White Tank Mountains, so the views stand out right away. You see the mountains on most holes, which gives the course a strong sense of place and makes the round feel more memorable. The course is fairly forgiving off the tee. Fairways are wide enough to give you confidence, but you still need to control your shots to set up good angles into the greens. The greens roll well and have some slope, so putting and approach shots can make a difference in your score. The back nine is the stronger side. There is more variety in the holes and a few elevation changes that make shots more interesting. Several holes play toward the mountains, which adds to the overall look and feel of the course.
